Function Technology
The first three core functions deal with CPU intensive
applications (See Figure 3). We will discuss each with respect to
technology currently available if any, or technology currently available
that can be adopted to the community ePlatform environment. We then
identify key missing components that must be studied and developed.
Exchanging - facilitating information exchange
Processing (computational) - facilitating the computing required of and in any
e-Activity
Rendering - facilitating the presentation according to the static environment of the user

The second set of core functions provide sharing tools for participants
to use on the ePlatform (See Figure 4). We will detail each next.
Creating - authoring of e-Activity
Manipulating - actionable e-Activity
Managing - of e-Activities, of lesson plans, of topics, of individuals and of
educational entities
